Nocturnal Emissons

Two glowing eyes stare from the bottom of this tankard.
They make shift among the living, and they only come out at night.
This building will within me.
Condensation didn't stand a chance.
To the code of the lampshade.
This grout courses through me among the tiles.
Just south of the streetlight's beam, I've got my eye on you.
A shadow 'crept 'to the mansonary's mortar.
I've got my eye on you.
And each night is hotter than the one before.
The black summer's heat I taste over and over again each night.
Tonight more than the last.
There's a worser side of you?
There's a worser side of me too.
I smoke starve my soul, and try and drown the lungs of my adversary.
You'll know us when you see us.
Brown-tinged and bloodshot eyes.
You'll know us when you see us prowl through the bellows of your city.
I'm hungry. I'm weightless.
I'm hungry. I'm weightless.
I can taste the scent of your last breath.

Here it comes again so I'll say it slow.
This is my last chance to own some piece of myself.
There's nothing left to own.
So fucking desperate to feel devastation.
So fucking devastated when there's no more desperation.
To taste your own soup.
Screaming and shouting for something to mean anything in return.
Screaming, dreaming, for something fucking more.

I have nothing new for you.
My crown is not most desperate.
Guilty of self-loathing discontent.
All this--too, could be yours, for one daily payment.
I would have lost my mind if it didn't fit me so well.
I'd be without a mind if it didn't fit me so well.
And when I die bury with my name.
In my adolescent, sweat soaked, weekend best.
I am the river.
Just wait and see.
I am the river.
A pledge, my sea.
I'll make you sick like you make me sick.

This Is Jazz Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
After trying a few various iterations in regards to lineup and sound, in the Fall of 2010 This is Jazz officially began deep
within the musty bowels of the Ox warehouse in North Philadelphia.
From 2010 to 2013, we played everywhere from the smallest, dirtiest basement, to the most medium sized dirty basement. Since then, we haven't done too much.
